We plant trees on a periodic basis. Trees are planted in the most optimum season in various regions of the country to ensure higher survivability.

What is the process of planting trees?

We carefully select our planting partners based on their reputation and track record. To ensure the quality of their work, we have our planting sites independently audited .
During the audit, the auditors physically verify the total number of saplings planted, the species of the saplings, and compare these to our financial records. They also interact with local communities and the village panchayat to assess their participation in the project, evaluate the mortality rate of the trees, and report any other observations.

Based on these parameters, the auditors provide a comprehensive evaluation of the plantation project.

How long does it take for a tree to grow?

The rate of tree growth varies depending on the species and environmental conditions. Some trees can grow quickly and reach their mature size within a few years, while others may take decades or even centuries to fully mature. It is important to choose a tree species that is appropriate for the space and time frame you have in mind.

How do you ensure that trees planted survives well?

Our planting partners have extensive experience in ensuring the survival of trees. During the audit, the auditors physically verify the total number of saplings planted and the species of the saplings, and compare these to our financial records. If a tree does not survive, our planting partners replace it with a new one. We do more than just plant trees and hope for the best - we also educate farmers and growers on proper reforestation so they understand not only how to do it, but why it is important.
